About Eigenstate Blue

Eigenstate Blue is my artist name and music project. My music often has an alternative rock style. The name comes from quantum mechanics - an eigenstate is a quantum state with a definite value, while blue is supposed to represent some emotion, blurry in contrast to the defined eigenstate.

Due to my truly laughable singing ability, I put my focus into the lyrics and instrumental aspects of my music and the vocals in my tracks are not my own.

I will certainly not be running out of ideas any time soon as I have a very large catalogue of finished and unfinished lyrics scrawled out. Working through these one by one, crafting the music, is currently allowing me to release a new track every 2-3 weeks.

My Workflow

I start by drafting the lyrics of my track (because its the most fun part and keeps me motivated) until I have completed lyrics, even if they often change later.

Then, using garage band, I create an instrumental track, recording the drum part live and building the rest with my laptop.

The last stage is producing the vocal track, which I have stated is not my own. For this, I pass the lyrics and instrumental track to an AI softwareTherefore I declare all my tracks as partially AI generated which, along with detailed instructions on every line, produces my desired vocals (after many iterations).

Finally, assembly, mixing, and mastering are completed to finalise the track.
